case of the yucky temp

On my way back from lunch, my socks got soaked cos it was pouring elephants and hippos, and everywhere was flooded.

It was damn bad because i'm gonna go for driving tonight and it'll be super yucky to drive when my socks are drenched.

Guess what i did?

Let's just say that this is one time i'm glad my monitor is the DUA MAO (big ass) old one, and not those LCD screens.

Teehee.

to be continued...

once again...

...i'm on the youth.sg blog.

This time it's for my lao zha bor entry.

They didn't really edit what i typed, so Huishan, you got free advertisement there! Haha!

They actually already mentioned her blog in their previous entry about the movie, so i'm just an extension.

Anyway, have anyone heard of a band called Rivermaya? They're "arguably Philippines’ hottest music export".

Anyway, youth.sg is giving away free tickets to their concert at Downtown East on 8th April.

Details HERE!

I've got a pair of tickets, who wants to go with me?

here to add some colour

My blog's fast becoming all words and no pictures due to the fact that i usually blog at the office.

And i predict that all my entries from the office will be filled with the rantings of a disgruntled customer service officer.

So it's time i post up some pictures!

I have to tell you the story of how 8 guys ended up doing something that's so stereotypically girly.

I'm talking about the taking of neoprints of cos!

I'm getting a sugar rush just looking at those super act cute poses of ours.

This is how it happened.

We met in the morning of the 25th for klunch at the kbox at level 8 of cine. Don't mind me digressing abit cos the place sucks, so please refrain from going there. The mics were totally faulty, the pitch of the songs couldn't be changed and the food took ages to arrive.

So as i was saying, we actually met up to celebrate Xinhe and Philip's birthday! Boon Kian was the organiser and he actually bought a cake from kbox itself! In fact, the cake was really nice!

So after k-ing, we were walking around aimlessly when suddenly someone (not me!) suggested taking neoprint. By then we had reached the horrifyingly pink neoprint shop at L2 of cine.

We were 8 guys standing outside the shop. Half didn't mind, half were reluctant (guess which half was i in), but in the end, we managed to persuade everyone to do it!

We walked into the shop and another dilemma hit us. Which machine to use?

So we became 8 guys standing inside the shop.

This group of secondary school girls came in and to our chagrin, we overheard one of them say, "Eee, wei shen mo zhe jian dian zhe mo duo nan ren de?"

When i heard it, i wanted to retort, "Eee, wei shen mo zhe jian dian zhe mo duo nu ren de?"

But i didn't obviously. We all pretended not to hear it.

In the end, we choose a machine and had tonnes of fun rushing into our poses. In fact, there were examples of how to pose for each shot, and some of us (esp me) tried to copy them.

We were freaking KAO PEI-ing with 8 guys inside the booth. Can you imagine the din we made? Like taxi drivers arguing.

When we got out, THE WHOLE SHOP was staring at us!

Oh. My. God.

Anyway, the machine that we chose was quite cool, you could actually send the neoprints to your phone via infrared!

So someone got all 5 of the neoprints into his phone and bluetoothed everyone.

Damn cool can!

I suspect neoprint machines are designed specially to make people look so much nicer than they really look.

I mean, look at me, i where got so cute in real life?

too much to handle

Argh! My entry got demolished after this stupid old system running on Windows 2000 restarted by itself!

I was saying that the first few calls of the day were made by people crying for their dads and mums.

As in kao pei kao bu.

My first call was from a guy calling to complain about the fact that before he signed the check, there was stock, but after he signed it, there wasn't. So what can i do? Is it my fault that he possibly took 10 minutes to sign his check, whereby other people came and took away the stock?

What's more, he VEHEMENTLY REFUSED to give me his name and contact details so that i could get back to him. Even after explaining that there wasn't anyone around that could answer his questions, he demanded i put someone on the phone and that he could wait.

So i transferred him to my collegue who couldn't help him either and she tried to placate him. My skills not that power yet, have to gain more exp points to level up.

However, she couldn't get him to leave his contact and go away either, so she put him on hold and carried on with her work. Haha! Let him wait lo.

I'm so worked up because he accused me of CHEATING him of his money! Please la! Even thou i work for peanuts per hour, what makes him think i'm getting any benefits from wanting to take down his details to call him back. That's extra work for me isn't it?

Bleah! Next time you call customer service, please talk nicely ok. We're people too! We're not superhumans put at the phone to endure ur verbal assults.

Next time anyone's rude, i'm gonna put them on hold forever.

Muahahaha! I'm kidding.

Or maybe not.

p/s i'm so gonna remove anything that indicated where i work. so unsafe to rant abt customers if everyone reading knows where i work.

i got tomorrow-ed and i didn't know!

How can?

As you all know, my article on "The Messengers" got put up on the youth.sg blog. What i didn't know was that Alvin, the webmaster, sent the entry from the youth.sg blog in to Tomorrow.sg and it got posted up!

Means i got Tomorrow-ed!

Very cool.

And what's more, my lao zha bor entry might be posted up on the youth.sg blog too! Alvin(webmaster) read my entry and was interested in it. To think i thought the entry was a little too late for the youth.sg blog since the show was over so long ago.

I really cannot stand the lao zha bor! I read all her entries already and i still feel weird that she's using such hip and cool language like "loser", "freaking jealous" and "lame".

I don't mean i don't like her, i freaking love the fact that she's so old and still blogging! And her entries are so interesting to read, unlike some bloggers decades younger than her.

And she uses the MacBook Pro! Argh! I'm "freaking jealous"!

And i've really gotta stop blogging about every tiny tidbit of my life. I'm running out of things to say to my friends.

Everytime i tell them something, they'll reply with an "I know".

-_-"

Like for example,

"Eh, i working as customer service..."

"I know..."

" -_-" "

Eh shit la i think i'm gonna overdose on blogging. Blog in office, come home and blog.

Madness!

it's real!!! (but i'm skeptical)

Those of you who've watched the latest Jack Neo movie, Just Follow Law, would remember with some amusement the old lady who acted as the mother of Fann Wong's character.

That's the same old lady who was seen collecting empty drink cans and working at Macdonalds in the show just because she was bored with nothing to do.

On the show, she had so much free time that she took up English lessons and learnt how to use the Internet. She surprised those vagrant characters in the show with her good command of English while taking their orders and even showed them her Internet Banking account, under the name of Lao Zhar Bor (i dunno if you guys spotted the name, but i sure did and i got quite a laugh out of it).

The funniest thing of all was when she told them, "Wo hai you blog ne, lao zha bor dot blogspot dot com", and proceeded to type in her blog's URL.

So hilarious right?

You know what's even more hilarious?

Huishan (i watched the show with her) msned me while i was working and screamed in caps, "IT'S REAL!!!"

She then pasted a URL following that outburst.

As i was swamped with calls, i clicked on it but left it while i attended to the calls.

I was practically swamped with enquiries all the way, so i briefly browsed through the site she gave me.

It was laozhabor.blogspot.com.

*faints*

I was squealing with glee that the site actually exists!

At first i thought that someone else set it up after the show, the English was too good to be a lao zha bor's, but then i saw the pictures.

If you watch as much local television and movies as me (read: not much), you'll recognise the other woman as another lao zha bor who frequently cameos in those shows as either grannys or random passerbys.

*double faints*

I have no time to really analyse the blog, but once i get home (i'm still in office [sad face]), i'm so gonna sit down and read everything!

This is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo groundbreakingly funny.

She should join the youth.sg blogging competition since she's so hip!

LOL!

My god i'm still feeling tickled.

edit: according to aldwin it's old news. nvm, still damn funny!

i'm working...

...yet here i am!

And i'm on web msn too!

I think i'll really like this job.

When it gets busy, it gets really busy. The phone would literally ring off the hook. After getting off the phone with someone, i just have to press the receiver down and another call comes through. And i'm using one of those telephone operator things, so i feel like a secretary. Haha!

But when it's slack, it's really dull. I nearly fell asleep before i dared to even go to yahoo to search for web msn. You see, my cubicle's positioned in a way that my collegue can look at what i'm doing on the com by just turning her head. But after awhile i decided that falling asleep's more of a taboo than typing furiously at the com on my first day of work.

I went to lunch with one of my collegues (there's only 3 people including me in my department) and i asked her what my jobscope was.

She said it was just to answer calls that come in.

I then asked her what should i do if there's no calls (at this point, you might be thinking, "aiyoh that gundu, can slack dun wanna slack", but i'm just the sort of person who feels weird if i'm being paid to do nothing. i have to do something!) and she just gave me a cheeky grin.

Haha! That was all the answer i needed to continue using msn and to even blog!

But the com's abit the old. I look around and all the others are using sleek black coms with LCD screens and i look at my terminal and it's the cream/dirty white coloured one with the fat monitor. They're tempists! They biased against temps!

I'm just kidding. At least got internet connection!

I think those things that i haven't blogged about are gonna be ancient history soon. So ancient that i think dun need to blog already la.

I hope the company doesn't track down my blog and sue me or something. I don't think i revealed anything scandalous right?

Top 11 + 9

Yea, i'm in the Top 20 for round 6 of the popularity blogging contest.

I don't really expect to win anything, but vote if your my friend you like my super-indulgent entry.

Anyway, the voting form can be found HERE.

And if you wish to scout out the rest of the competitors, something which i have not done myself, go HERE.

I've also attached the voting form to the end of my competition entry, which is the one where i roleplayed as a whore asking people to buy me stuff for my birthday.

Vote and you may stand a chance to win Sakae Sushi vouchers.

Speaking of Sakae Sushi, i didn't know it's motto was "Good Place Very Good Sushi". Abit salah sounding la the English.

Anyway, i'm B1! Vote for me!

=)

i Am @ Youth.SG : what juni wants

This year ain't the year of the pig...

It's the year of the birthday parties!!!

Especially for the 1986 batch, because EVERYONE'S TURNING 21!

Like duh.

At first, i didn't want to have a celebration for myself. I intended to just let my birthday slip by like the previous years, with only some friends asking me out.

But after being invited to so many parties, i gian already la!

With great parties come great responsibility.

I'm frazzled enough as it is, but i still have to manage the guestlist, cater food, order cake, buy extra sides.

All of which i've not done.

I've done one thing thou.

I've created an improbable wishlist for fear of people buying me stuffed toys. Although some of the items there are like impossibles, a boy can dream.

Ok, without further ado, it's 不要脸 (thick skinned) time.

I doubt the Abercrombie polos can be found in Singapore (i don't want cheong ones!), you can try buying them online thou! Oh, i'll accept Ralph Lauren polos too! NO GIORDANO OR NO FOOD FOR YOU!

If you wanna get Topman tees or shirts, i wear M hor. I know i'm fat, dun need to make me look fatter by buying me baggy clothes. And try to abstain from white/light colours cos it's fattening!

What's most important is to surprise me! But after this entry, i think it's hard for me to get surprised.

Aiyah, if i think of anything else i'll edit this entry and repost it! Kinda braindead from all that photoshopping.

If you're not sure how to get any items from the list, ask me ask me!

Now everyone chant with me,

NO STUFFED TOYS, NO ORNAMENTS, NO CRAPPY CLOTHES!
NO STUFFED TOYS, NO ORNAMENTS, NO CRAPPY CLOTHES!
NO STUFFED TOYS, NO ORNAMENTS, NO CRAPPY CLOTHES!
NO STUFFED TOYS, NO ORNAMENTS, NO CRAPPY CLOTHES!
NO STUFFED TOYS, NO ORNAMENTS, NO CRAPPY CLOTHES!
NO STUFFED TOYS, NO ORNAMENTS, NO CRAPPY CLOTHES!
NO STUFFED TOYS, NO ORNAMENTS, NO CRAPPY CLOTHES!
NO STUFFED TOYS, NO ORNAMENTS, NO CRAPPY CLOTHES!
NO STUFFED TOYS, NO ORNAMENTS, NO CRAPPY CLOTHES!

If anyone gets me crappy stuff i'll throw a tantrum and sit on the floor!

Not like i haven't done it before.

But nothing beats my brother.

Remember people, there's a fine line to being poor and being cheap. Careful which side you tread on.

HAHA!

Oh man i'm coming off as such an ass. I'm really very nice in real life one...

p/s, i've tagged this entry with 'friendship' because you guys are such great friends! i wuv chew!

too many things on my mind

So i'm just gonna list them down one by one.

1) I've submitted my wishlist entry to round 6 of the blogging contest found here. Anyhow whack la, since i already didn't win the iPod. I'm also not really hankering after the camera. Bah~!

2) I'm officially a contributor to the Youth.SG blog. The webmaster of the site read my "The Messengers" entry and found it amusing enough to mention that i should blog such funny shit for his site. I offered to let him post it up and here it is. He added in his own words here and there, but essentially, the entry's still mine.

3) Why are so many people still coming here thru my previous blog?

Please update your links people, DON'T BE LAZY.

And why are so many people coming here thru boony's blog?

4) Life's been pretty much hectic since i ORDed and that's even before i've found a job. For the past 2 days, i've been earning close to $10/hour relief teaching adhoc at a primary school so near my house that i can walk there in barely 5 mins. More on that in another entry.

5) I've found myself a customer service job till end of April which pays only $6/hour. I know it's the normal pay, but it's peanuts as compared to relief teaching.

With relief teaching, i start at 12pm and finish at 6.30pm, earning $65. But with this new job, i work from 8am till 6pm and earn only $60!

ARGH!

6) I've yet to blog about so many things and as usual, the photos are piling up. So far, i have 3 folders worth of pictures. Screwed as usual. By the time i'm free to use the computer, i'm too braindead to even think about blogging already.

I just sit there and absorb the microwaves coming out from the screen.

No wonder my brain's fried.

windows live messenger

Met with ZC, gabs and yushan. It felt like a weird combi because i was crashing in on their "family" outing.

We walked around alot looking for a present for yushan, ate alot of carbo and spent alot of money.

The crux of the outing was whether to go watch a movie or to go sing Kbox. Finally, it was decided by the decisive zc that we should watch a horror movie.

And since it's his actual birthday today, we had no choice but to accept our fate.

What can i say about the show?

Oh how about, yushan fell asleep, and so did zc himself?

The show, directed by the Pang brothers, was a typical Asian horror flick with Hollywoodism injected into it.

It's actually quite hard for me to remember the details now. That's how unmemorable the show was. Apparently it's about how children can see things that adults cannot.

The only part that vaguely made an impression on me was when the mother realised that the little boy was staring at some empty corner, and she asked him what was there.

The little boy merely pointed at the empty corner.

Then the mother realised that the little boy could see things that she couldn't and tried to ask him where they were.

The little boy continued to point at the same spot.

The mother then asked, "What do they look like?"

The little boy brought his hands up to his eyes...

And made a face.

That was damn freaky. Other than that, the show was rather predictable and lame.

I was joking that i didn't understand why the movie was titled "The Messengers".

Liddat nearly every horror movie can be called that. Nearly all ghosts come back to haunt the place because they have some sort of message they need to tell some unsuspecting girl who will then either find the remains of the ghost/find out how they really died/find the person who killed them.

So cliche.

I mean, if the show was about maybe msn or something then the title would be self explanatory.

Girl staring at the computer screen: "OMG, why's HE appearing online? He's supposed to be DEAD!"

Whoa, that's scary.

toilets and tuition

I survived my first day of tuition!

The mother asked no questions and the child followed everything i said.

Granted that the child just scrapped through his CA1, i believe that he wants to study and will work hard!

And to think that i was so nervous that when i got to the block 20 minutes earlier than the stipulated timing, i didn't dare go up. Instead, i sat at the void deck, intending to wait at least 10 more minutes.

It was then that i felt my stomach cramping and i knew i had to find a toilet stat!

I didn't want to use the student's toilet because i felt that it would be weird, so i half-ran to the nearby petrol station, and luckily for me there was a toilet there.

I had a sense of foreboding when i saw the toilet paper vending machine thing outside the toilet, but ducked into the toilet after making sure no one was watching.

It's very paiseh you know, being spotted going into the toilet of a petrol station.

You know what's more paiseh than that?

Being spotted going into the toilet of a petrol station with the intention to shit.

And that's what happened.

My sense of foreboding came true. There wasn't any toilet paper on the roll!

I thought i could dart out of the toilet to dong in a 10-cent coin, and duck back in real quick without being spotted but noooo, a couple of malay dudes decided to walk right across my path.

At first they didn't see me, and i thought, "ok, maybe i can quietly take the toilet paper and go back in so they won't see me," but oh, the machine made a sound so loud that it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand.

I turned around and the malay dudes were already looking over and laughing at me!

I felt humiliation to the extreme ok!

Can you imagine me trying to look inconspicuous while waiting for the machine to spit out a meagre length of toilet paper?

Alamak!

According to the management of the competition, B1, 2, 4, 5 and 9 are holding the top positions, in no order of merit.

I'm B5!

W00ts!~!~!

Voting closes at 2359hrs on 15th of March, so go VOTE if you haven't done so!

In other news, there's so many things for me to think about.

I've changed driving instructors and i hope with this new one i can pass by my original test date. Which means i have to pia every week twice, 2 hours each. Stress on me and my bank account.

I need to plan for my birthday, which means booking the function room, booking the caterer and booking my friends. Stress on me and my bank account yet again.

I'm still jobless. I've called and emailed many schools to no avail. And i just registered myself with recruit express (xh, aka joel, is working there). Stress!

Travelling is a pain in the ass. I went for my driving lesson, then home, then orchard then home again and that cost me nearly $10 in MRT rides. STRESS!

I regretted accepting the tuition job because my maths is really terrible. I actually tried to do a P6 maths SA1 paper and i ended up making alot of mistakes. But i need the money la. STRESS!

I really wanna blog about my camp and also round 6 of the blogging comp but i've not been feeling very up to it recently.

But entries to round 6 closes on the 23rd so i guess i better buck up by then.

more primary 5 maths

Question 1

Toby and Tom had the same amount of pocket money. Each day, Toby spent $12 and Tom spend $15. When Tom had $18 left, Toby had 5 times as much money left as Tom. How much money did each boy have at first?

Question 2

There are a total of 1430 red, blue, green and yellow marbles in a box.

John discovers that if he does all of the following,
* doubles the number of red marbles,
* adds 40 blue marbles,
* removes 30 green marbles and
* removed half the yellow marbles,

he would get the same number of marbles for each colour. How many green marbles are there in the box?

I've actually got the solutions for these questions through a quick call to a maths goddess. I just want to know if these questions are hard or i'm just stupid.

Post your solutions in the comments ok?

I Am @ Youth.SG

334972257_7cc67a5b88_o

I am @ Youth.SG because i want to win the 30GB Apple iPod and the grand prize of an Apple MacBook.

Hey, at least i'm honest ok! I don't give bullshit about wanting to entertain you with my writing. I mean, if on the way, people get a kick out of reading, then all the better right?

Don't you think that us youths are getting more and more detached from the world around us? I blame it on the fact that wherever i go, the signature white iPod earphones would be surgically attached to my ears.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining or anything because I AM THE iPOD GENERATION-tion-tion-tion-tion.....

It's more than just music, it's a lifestyle baby...

I am @ Youth.SG because i am a connected, higly motivated and gregarious youth who is aware of himself and others.

And i chronicle everything, big or small, on the various blogs that i've had.

I blogged about Tammy, joined Singapore Idol, shop at Ikea and love Ben & Jerry's.

Although many factors define me as a youth in SG, i've boiled it down to the 3 most important, namely food, self-image and air-con. These might not seem to have any links to Youth.SG, but if you read on, i'm sure you'll be convinced that they are in fact, the most important of all!

My number 1 motto in life, other than "Don't Worry, Be Happy", is "Live to Eat, not Eat to Live". I love my mee poks, char kway teows and tau huays so much that it's kinda been my downfall to the road of weight loss.

In fact, i love my food so much that i've actually created a food blog to introduce some of the yummilicious food that i had. My kiasu friends actually took down the places i've introduced and went to try them as well! Being a foodie and a blogger has made me marry the two of them together to form a beautiful union online.

Being a youth in Singapore, the pressure to look good is constantly around us.

Be it weight loss,

or teeth whitening,

the emphasis on the superficiality of humans are splashed across mediums like TV, newspapers and magazines, shaping the mindset of beauty in us impressionable youths.

And being youths, how can we afford such exorbitant products? I mean, we don't even have enough money to buy our own clothes from Topman, Zara, or FCUK already, where got spare cash to spend on these things?

We can only go to Carrefour to make a fool out of ourselves playing on OSIM's newest products (have you heard that there's a new foot reflexology thingy called iPoke? They have the most hilarious names possible. I mean, uPapa?!?).

Alternatively, we can use the universal tool of, just simply, praying.

And it's free!

I've spotted the rise in such advertisements and as you can see, i love parodying them to death on my blog.

And how can i be @ Youth.SG if not for air-con?

Being the pampered and sheltered youth that i am, no air-con how to survive? Especially in sunny Singapore, where it's hot and humid 24/7 everyday, 365 days a year.

I mean, of cos i can survive without air-con. I'm not as pampered as my brother.

This is what you get if you ask him to do more 听写 (chinese spelling).

He beats me hands down.

I don't hope to beat anyone hands down with this hastily done up, last minute blog entry (i just found out about this competition this morning), but i hope i at least have a chance at a prize ya?

I just have a feverish love for blogging and making people laugh, and i hope it translates because...

I AM @ YOUTH.SG!!!

scandal on a note

No, this is not gonna be about the les film.

This is about the scandal that rocked the American Idol stage last month. And i bet most of you guys here don't know about it.

If you're a rabid fan of American Idol like me, you'd know who Antonella Barba is.

She's the one that gave us her horrid rendition of a Celine Dion song, and ngeh ngeh wanna retort back to Simon everytime he says that her singing sucks. The only good thing that any of the judges can say to her is that she's oh so pretty.

And i guess she really took the judges criticism and worked on it.

And worked it she did.

Be careful don't anyhow click. Some of the pictures are extremely pornographic in nature.

Last month, pictures of her surfaced on the internet. Pictures of her partying, drinking (she's underage!), topless holding her breasts and sitting on the toilet bowl.

I found this picture oddly hilarious.

If this wasn't enough, pictures of her giving head to someone with a belly came up too, but was dismissed by the show's producers as not being her. As someone commented, "Yea, maybe it's just her twin."

It's all so scandalous!

I mean, if she can sing like phwoar, it's ok, but she can't sing for nuts! So she has to fondle them. Maybe that's how she's still in the competition. Hmmmm.

Maybe this week she'll lick the microphone and do sexy moaning sounds while looking into the camera with her smouldering eyes, and just wait for the calls to come in.

She should have been out ages ago.

But i applaud her good marketing strategy.

Many people have gotten famous by the way of sexy, racy photographs on the internet, why shouldn't she do it too?

worn out

That's how i feel.

I'm feeling so tired. So empty.

I have so many things buzzing around in my head at the moment, so many things i should do, so many things i should get a grip on, but i can't seem to focus.

Everything keeps slipping through my mental fingers.

ARGH!

I'm definitely definitely gonna fail driving. The test is on 18th may and i still don't know anything.

I'm getting horribly short tempered too. Somehow, everything is pissing me off, and i seem to go around with the intention of pissing off others.

Taking my pink ic on friday is doing nothing to better my mood because then i'll officially be jobless.

I reapplied for NTU's mass comm but i'll definitly not get in because it's the 3rd year trying and i really cannot be bothered.

I keep missing choir practs and i have tons of catching up to do. I'm gonna miss this week's because of a sec 1 camp, which i'm being a facilitator in. Details later.

I feel so swamped!

uncle toby

I want an English name, but i think in the eyes of others, i look too much like a Junyi to have another name.

I want my name to sound fun, not funny, and be relatively unique, meaning i don't wanna use any names that people i know are using.

I know i've been using Juni for awhile, but Juni Goh Junyi sounds abit silly don't you think?

My friend suggested Zingy, as in Zingy Goh Junyi.

Maybe it'll work if i work in the creative industries, but can u imagine if i become a teacher? Or a minister? LOL.

Member of Parliment Zingy Goh Junyi shall now give his speech. "Nabei, you know ar, the public people all curse us ministers say what we tan dio because GST hike our pay also hike. Actually ar, ya la i agree we be ministers very song also, who ask you all don't want to be minister, don't want to work for gahmen? Entrepreneurship my pi gu ar!"

Actually, i've had the name Toby stuck in my head for the past few days, but it's been met with some strong disapproval.

"Eh, next time you old will have people call you Uncle Toby leh!"

Or

"Toby makes me think of food. And it sounds like an uncle's name."

Eh, comment comment leh. I wanna know what you guys think of the name Toby, or even Juni. And if both of them are bleah for you, then what u think suits me?

colour is overrated

I'm suffering from blogger's block, that's why it's been quiet for awhile.

Oh don't be mistaken that i've bounced back from it. I think i might just retreat for awhile.

People asking me to blog's nice, but a little stressful.

For the past few days, i've been going out with different girls one-on-one.

Caught Just Follow Law with Huishan on Tuesday. And she brought be on my virgin experience at Ben & Jerry's.

If you like the colour, or lack thereof, of the picture, here's a cool site for you to explore.

www.picnik.com

It doesn't do the frames and all, that i did it on photoshop, but you can upload any picture on the website and edit the colour, contrast, size, rotation, and there's even a creative tool with special effects where you can transform your pictures from common to, i quote huishan, "shi mei de lor".

Go explore la, don't need to download or install anything. Perfect for the photoshop idiot in you.

Other than her, i've gone out with mabs and sc for dinner and some shopping at bugis and vivo respectively. Tsk, i know i'm kinda scandalous but it's strictly platonic! Don't speculate!

Being single is fun, but it can get tiring from all the friend-hopping i'm doing, but i wouldn't trade my friends for the world!

Ok maybe i would. It's the world leh...

Listening

I don't want you to think of me as an eavesdropper so I'll just say that I'm listening to music instead of my neighbour's maid flirting with my other neighbour's driver.

Reading

I like it when people think of me as an intellectual so I will list a bunch of intellectual-sounding books here, even those I don't plan to read.

Viewing

Since I can't list my porn collection here, I'll just leave it this way until I can force myself to watch non-pornographic stuff, which may or may not happen.
