"strange" seafood market

Nothing to do in the car and this is what happens.

I don't know if i'm the one learning from them or they're learning from me.

Anyway, my dad brought the family out for dinner at 奇怪海鲜市场.

奇怪 means strange i thought, so the whole time me and my aunt were like calling it the "strange" seafood market. It wasn't until we actually saw the signboard that we realised it was actually supposed to be unique seafood market.

Isn't unique 特别 or 特殊? Whatever, Chinese is totally foreign to me.

When we got there, there was a minor confusion. Seems the Unique Seafood Market is really just a market, as you can see, and not actually a restaurant, as my dad originally thought. DOH!

You purchase the seafood from the market and there's a couple of restaurants beside it that cooks it for you like on the spot.

We had chilli crab, lobster salad, and this shellfish thing with something like an elephant's trunk sticking out of it. It looked more like a penis than an elephant's trunk actually. I mentioned it to my mum and she was so tickled.

But damn it tasted so yummy!

No pictures of the food cos my camera decided to die on me la. I forgot to charge it since the last time i used it.

I think there's something in the food cos i'm feeling damn strange now. And it's not me, there's other people telling me the same thing, that i'm being very weird today.

Oh well.

cheers,
juni

Listening

I don't want you to think of me as an eavesdropper so I'll just say that I'm listening to music instead of my neighbour's maid flirting with my other neighbour's driver.

Reading

I like it when people think of me as an intellectual so I will list a bunch of intellectual-sounding books here, even those I don't plan to read.

Viewing

Since I can't list my porn collection here, I'll just leave it this way until I can force myself to watch non-pornographic stuff, which may or may not happen.
