ok she swallows, so what?

I know what you guys are thinking of. Because i was thinking the exact same thing when i saw this ad on the papers a few days ago.

Unless you have a poor command of English, or an all too innocent mind, the sexual innuendo would be in plain sight.

Some might say that it's crude and crass, while others might shake their head disapprovingly at the ad, but i say BRAVO!

If anything, the ad grabbed our attention from the news! It lept out of the otherwise monotonous pages to lay a slap on our faces!

So what if it brought on controversy? Bad publicity is still publicity. Do you think as many people would have heard of Imedeen if there wasn't such a big hoo-haa about the ad?

Our reigning Queen of Caldecott Hill, and also the spokesperson for Imedeen, Zoe Tay, should be proud that she was deemed daring and sexy enough to front this provocative ad, after all, she's married and is a mom now.

Singaporeans should lighten up and be more open to such forms of expression. A repressed society is a recipe for disaster.

Now the worst thing that can happen is that the ads get revamped into something totally boring.

Something like this.

Listening

I don't want you to think of me as an eavesdropper so I'll just say that I'm listening to music instead of my neighbour's maid flirting with my other neighbour's driver.

Reading

I like it when people think of me as an intellectual so I will list a bunch of intellectual-sounding books here, even those I don't plan to read.

Viewing

Since I can't list my porn collection here, I'll just leave it this way until I can force myself to watch non-pornographic stuff, which may or may not happen.
